Senior Client Support – Chelmsford Office

We are looking for a friendly, flexible and proactive individual to join our small, busy team, based in central Chelmsford, with free parking.  The team looks after our clients and provides support to our financial planners and technical specialists.  You should be happy to work in a quieter environment and on your own in the office on some occasions, but also enjoy working within a team and delivering a first-class service to our clients.  The ideal candidate:

  • Ideally 2+ years’ experience as a financial administrator / client support at an IFA or within financial services
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Has some experience in using a platform
  • Experience in using Intelliflo would be an advantage
  • Service orientated with a general interest in providing an exceptional client experience
  • Good interpersonal skills and must be a team player, but also able to work on own
  • Ability to work in a busy working environment, prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Excellent administration, written / verbal communication skills and organisational skills
  • Possesses a keen eye for detail
  • Interested in gaining professional qualifications in Financial Services


  • Administering clients’ portfolios using Standard Life (abrdn), Novia and Transact platforms
  • Processing platform / off-platform new business by liaising with providers, clients and tea
  • Preparing all documentation in respect of a client’s annual portfolio review
  • Preparing Income Drawdown Reviews
  • Administering client transactions on platforms
  • Dealing with platforms and product providers to obtain information about existing and potential investments
  • Supporting financial planners and technical team
  • Handling client queries and helping service existing clients
  • Assisting with our rebalance process
  • Developing and maintaining a sound working knowledge of platforms
  • Maintaining Intelliflo Office system
  • Greeting office visitors
  • Maintaining appropriate CPD to meet CII, Chartered Corporate and Gibbs Denley requirements


SSAS Specialist – Cambridge Office

We are looking for a proactive individual to work within our technical team based in our Cambridge office, who will administer all aspects predominantly of our SSASs. The ideal candidate:

  • Must be experienced in SSAS administration
  • Knowledge of group schemes preferable, but not essential
  • Able to use initiative and confidently manage own workload
  • Must be comfortable working independently within the team
  • Service orientated with a general interest in providing an exceptional client experience
  • Good interpersonal skills are a must, as is working alongside a friendly team of dedicated individuals
  • Willing to work with advisers to actively develop the SSAS book
  • Excellent organisational and written / verbal communication skills
  • Possess a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to both interpret and produce technical information from HMRC and TPR
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Ability to work in a busy working environment and meet deadlines
  • Interested in gaining professional qualifications in Financial Services
